how do you turn off, hide, not show the sharing social icons, etc.

thanks, but I do not see > setttings > social shareÂ
it does not exists? am I missing something?

however, Social Share is disabled.Â
BUT I still see the attached image.
Share is still showing with X and whatsappÂ
why is that?

Try enabling again from Dashboard>wporo>Boards>edit>Social Share
Then go to Dashboard>wpForo>settings>Social Share>disable/untick all the buttons and Enable General Share Buttons (No). Save.Â
Go back to Dashboard>wporo>Boards>edit>Social Share*disable and Save
Then clear all the caches including wpForo from settings overview. Control+F5 your browser too for good measure.

Maybe he is running a Wordpress page caching plugin ....
