Hi,

Is it possible to disable users from posting or commenting? I want to create an announcement channel and do not want to allow users to be able to comment.

Hi yohann24,

You should set Read only access to each Usergroups for each Forum. Just edit the forum and manage Usergroup - Access settings.

 

Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses admin page edit the "Read only access", make sure these two permissions (CAN‘s) are unchecked:

  • Can create topic
  • Can post reply
