Hi there,
We have a fairly large forum community with 40k+ topics and 500k+ posts. Our logs are showing that many queries with the parameter ?foro=allread are causing slowdowns as it triggers heavy DB writes per
user.
Is there a way to prevent this slowdown while still keeping the ability for users to view unread posts?
Is it possible to only offer the read/unread feature to certain roles? Or some other way of reducing it's performance impact?
