I am running Wordpress 6.9. I have the latest version of wpforo installed.
I created a v2 checkbox recaptcha key for my website. Google console says, "Your key is requesting tokens and scores. Everything is set up correctly and your site or app is protected." I installed the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin and tested my key. It verified the captcha was working successfully. I then copy / pasted the same ID / secret key into the wpforo settings > Recaptcha and saved my settings.
If I log out of my site and log in via chathamliteracy.org/wp-admin, I see the recapcha checkbox and can log in successfully. But if I go to chathamliteracy.org/community/ and choose login, I get an error when I try to login: "Error: recaptcha verification failed, please try again."
Please advise.
I'm closing my own ticket. If using wpforo, I should not be using any other recaptcha tool on my site. I disabled the Advanced Google reCAPTCHA plugin, and everything is fine now.
