does this code still work, I have placed this in the functions.php in the /wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-themes/classic as this is the only one that seems to be active.

it fails. any more help on this would be appreciated.

hmm... please remove it from the classic functions.php as soon as possible. Also please never edit the plugin files in plugin directory. All codes we provide here should be put in current active WordPress theme functions.php file not wpForo. If you have a child WhordPress theme it's better.

Hi there.

Also looking for a function to bulk-upload images and preferably be able to add image text to each of them.

You should use wpForo Advanced Attachments addon.

Hmm, inside the last post I attached a PNG picture, but it was just only displayed as a link,

not the picture itsself... Hmm,

is there no automatic display of the attached pictures yet in WPForo ?

Also in another test forum I just setup with WPForo I did not get the Youtube links to show

as embeded videos....
SimplePress automatically embeds Youtube Video links as an embedded video....Hmmm.,
is this functionally not yet build into WPForo or do I need to buy any Plugins for this ?

Many thanks.

Regards, Stefan.

Yes, you just need to insert the code mentioned here to functions.php file of your Wordpress theme:

https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/uploading-and-embedding-images/#post-5212

Please note: the default WordPress theme editor doesn't work in 99% cases. Please use WP Editor plugin before inserting code (if your WP is multisite installation don't install this plugin, just use FTP)
