Hello,

I've gone quite far in building my forum. But at first, I didn't understand everything and I end up with two pages containing the shortcode [wpforo].

If I open the right URL, the forum is displayed. But if I delete the page corresponding to the wrong URL (i.e. the other page), the forum is no longer displayed.

So I'd like to delete both pages and create a clean one.

My questions: if I do this, will everything I've built be destroyed? Normally not, since I haven't deleted the tables? And so, after destroying the two pages, if I recreate one by integrating the [wpforo] shortcode, will everything return to normal?

What really happens when you destroy all the forum pages? What are the consequences?

Thank you for your valuable feedback and advice.

I believe it will still work fine, but you will need to correct the settings in Dashboard>>wpForo>>Boards>> Create New Board>> Then make sure that all the settings on that configuration page are correct, including slung and everything else. Or pehaps you don't need to take the action of "Create New Board" just make sure the information already there is correct.

Then I believe you may place the [wpforo] shortcut in any page you want your forum to be displayed at.

However, it's been a while since I setup wpForo on a new site. If I was you, I would try to do the entire process on a staging site and try there first to see what happens. All configurations are different, and you might have a unique case or something I'm not aware of.
