I am experiencing an issue with forum subscription notifications.
Users can successfully subscribe to a forum and receive the subscription confirmation email. After clicking the confirmation link, the subscription appears to be active.
However, when a new topic or post is published in that forum, the subscribed user does not receive any notification email.
Important details:
• WordPress email delivery works perfectly on this site.
• The site sends many other emails successfully (WordPress notifications, WPForms emails, etc.).
• The site uses Mailjet for SMTP and all other plugins send emails correctly.
• Therefore this does not appear to be a Mailjet / SMTP / server mail issue.
Additional information:
• wpForo version: 6.9.1
• WordPress version: latest stable
• The user is subscribed to the forum itself (not only to a topic).
• The user receives the subscription confirmation email, so wpForo can send emails in principle.
The issue seems to be that wpForo does not trigger the notification email when new content is posted in a subscribed forum.
Could you please help verify:

Whether forum subscription notifications should trigger for new topics/posts automatically.

If there is a known issue or configuration required for this.

If there is any log or debugging method to verify that the notification event is being triggered.
If needed, I can provide temporary admin access to investigate.
