I have an announcement. I have been working in the background on a new open source LLM moderation plugin for wpForo (that is still in beta)  at https://github.com/comingofflais-com/LLM-Moderator-for-wpForo .

I made this for my website after seeing that there was no AI moderation plugin even after some years have passed since AI has been out, so I thought to quickly make it, but since then over the past 3 months I have placed a lot of effort into this, this is my main and only project within this time.

Here are some of the features as listed on github page.
The plugin automatically:

• Scans new or edited posts and topics for guideline violations
• Flags inappropriate content using AI analysis
• Mutes users who violate guidelines for configured durations, and unapproves offending post, topic, or edits. Muted users will see an error page that they are currently muted and can not post until their expiration time or the human moderators unmute them before then.
• Allows the admin to set different mute expiration times for flag types
• Appends custom message with formatting tags for AI type and reason to the end of the post, topic, and edits after LLM analysis
• Can be used to just append the custom message at the end of the post body after AI analysis (without forced muting)
• Automatically removes expired muted users on cleanup if not previously un-muted by the human moderator before the mute expiration time. This deletes any pending unapproved post or topic
• Allows the admin to monitor the muted users' table, remove users, or let the system auto un-mute users when their mute expires (other human moderators can use the essential premium moderation page feature)
• Allows the web admin to customize the prompt to have the LLM select the most appropriate "type" tag for the post

I got the information that the wpForo team is also working on their own AI moderation system for the next version, I was obviously disappointed to hear this because I have this plugin in works that I have put a lot of effort into and feel it could be a financial burden for me if I don't get it published. Therefore, I am getting my project known a few days in advance, it is completed, but requires some testing, which I have an excel table for about a 100 scenarios to test. An error may come up that can delay this. I am also waiting on wordpress.org to approve my account (waiting for over the past week, must be due to the holiday season) so once that is done, I will get the plugin available.

If the wpForo team is interested, we can work together and look at the different ways we have added features and mechanics for the AI moderation system. Perhaps if the system is not yet developed, my version can be incorporated into the update, I am willing to work with wpForo for this feature. Thank you.
