after I needed something like this for my website https://comingofflais.com.

This AI moderation was essential, and it was easy to implement in just 1 week I had an effective hardcoded version. As a developer, I take pride in the stuff I made. The forum was 3 days effort to set up, so I wanted to be more included, I wanted to code an AI feature for it, so that I could take more in my work.

I saw a post that requested it from march or may 2025, which @sofy replied to by saying they had no plans for AI yet and were not working on anything like this. (I swear to God this is the post I saw, I looked back to find it again, but I didn't find it, maybe it was deleted just now. December 30th 2025)

Anyway, I did take this into consideration, I thought it wasn't being worked on because the feature was rather easy to implement at first. Afterwards I spent a considerable effort of 3 months making the rest, sacrificing my time, effort, and finance and potential income to make the plugin. Only to be given unfortunate news that they had a plugin in works "for quite sometime". ...And my posts in showcase and reply to AI moderation were removed, why?

...I made this hoping that when I revealed my work to the wpForo team, they would be happy about the community effort, I did not anticipate that they had their version incoming. I understand the business aspect of things and how this can be impactful on their creations, but my intention was not to cause business losses. I also feel great anxiety about my potential work loss, and want my plugin to be officially incorporated by the wpForo team as a result.
