De stopping indexing hangs for hours. The pages also reloads every 30s or so.
3.0.0.11 doens't seem to solve the problem. Is there anything under the hood or maybe even a way to reset this by FTP?

It's solved, please wait for one or two refresh to let it stop. This is not one sec process. The indexing process is a backend scheduled process that is being stoped within 3-5 minutes so just be patient when you click the [stop] button and it'll stop soon.
Important, do not forget do a hard refresh (shift+refresh, Ctrl+F5) in the AI Content Indexing tab.
Even in 3.0.0.11 the status hangs at Stopping... and this is now for days. It started with the 3.0.0.10 version.
What I've tried so far:
- Disable and enabling wpforo plugin
- Disconnect and connecting AI service
- Hit the stop indexing button
- started a new background processing task
It all doens't work
It's clear. The old one is there, this is not a new issue. So you just need to stop the old stuck process. If it's not stopped with new version please open a ticket and we'll do it for you: https://wpforo.com/support/add-topic/
Also please specify the version of wpForo you tried:
- Hit the stop indexing button (v3.0.0.11: do Ctrl+F5 then click stop and wait for 2-5 minutes)
- started a new background processing task (v3.0.0.11: do Ctrl+F5 then start reindex by one forum and stop it. Wait for 2-5 minutes)
On v3.0.0.12:
- I Hit the stop indexing button after Ctrl+F5 and I wait for 5 minutes. I see the page still reloading every 30s.
- When I hit Ctrl+F5 and then start reindex one forum it's says currently indexing for 1s and then Stopping without doing any indexing.
