When will we be able to test a demo? From the features, it looks great, so I'm considering migrating my forum to bbpress.

Glad to hear that! This project doesn't have a specific nationality. wpForo is developed by the gVectors Team, and our development and support teams work from multiple countries (USA, Italy, Armenia, France, etc.).
