Hi userX,
Could you please ask this question to WordPress support forum, it doesn't have any relation to wpForo Plugin. There should be some plugin or code trick.

Thank you. For anyone else having issues with this my soloution was this plugin, it can't get any simplier. https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-dashboard-access-for-non-admins/

Not a complete solution. Leaves some menus ..... on top left (Wordpress etc).
