I’m using wpForo 2.4.5, and I would like to completely remove the Social Share section from all forum pages. I haven’t found any setting to turn this off in the dashboard. Is there a recommended way to disable this feature — either through settings, functions, or CSS?

In addition, I would also like to disable or remove the RSS feed functionality in wpForo. I want to ensure that RSS access to forum content is completely blocked or deactivated.

Any advice or guidance on how to achieve both would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi again,

Just an update – I’ve now deactivated both the “Social Share” and “Forum Feed / RSS” modules from the wpForo Modules panel (version 2.4.5), but both features are still visible or accessible on the frontend:

  • Social Share buttons are still showing under topics/posts

  • RSS feeds are still active and accessible via URL

Is there something more that needs to be done to fully disable these features — like clearing cache, adding custom code, or editing templates?

Any further guidance would be very appreciated. Thanks!
