I found, what appears to be a bug or undesirable feature.
If you were to set a forum to "no access" that was previously given access to registered members, all of these posts will still be visible to user users through the activity feed in the profile.
This means that any posts made in forums that are only available to a select group of users can be seen by everyone.
Even when I change specific topics to private, the replies by those users will still be shown in the activity feed (to all other users).
Ideally, the activity feed should hide any activities that are hidden to other members, much like how the "recent posts" widget hides posts made within private forums.

Thank you for letting us know, we'll check this and fix if this issue exists.

I think you do something wrong when you check private topics. The Private topics and posts are available for admins, moderators and for the topic/post topic creator (author). How you check it, are you sure you're not admin, mod or the author? Have you deleted cache before checking. There should not be such issue. We just tested and it works fine. Where can we see an example?
At the moment there are lots of private topics here on wpforo.com and I just checked the users Activities as guest and as a regular users, and I see all is ok, they don't see private content. I'm sure you're not right in this point.

You are right about this - it was a caching issue for the private topics activity.
The other problem still shows up, even with the caching cleared, so that should be investigated.
Thanks!
Thank you VeganOstomy,
Sure, the issue related to private forum topics is already fixed and will be available with next version.
