Often on my forum people attempt to quote multiple posts, or quote the same post multiple times. On almost all forums on the internet clicking "quote" adds that post to the reply box, often at the point where the user is already writing. However with wpforo clicking quote on any post again (or on another post) deletes whatever is in the reply box and puts that post there. A user is unable to quote multiple members at once or easily quote the same post multiple times (as they often want to do if the post is long and they are attempting to address specific paragraphs). This issue is hindering discussions since users are very used to forum quotes functioning the other way.
Exacerbating the issue (and my second concern) is that many users attempt to click the "blockquote" button in the reply field first to paste their quote and write the reply under it. However, when they do this the reply field doesn't create a blank space under the blockquote to write in, and can not write anything outside of the block quote! If you go to the reply field at the bottom of this page and click block quote you will see what I mean: You can type in the block quote, but cannot exit it in any way. I think this could be easily remedied by automatically creating a blank line under the block quote whenever it is inserted via the reply field button, as is done when using the reply post button?
Thanks devs for the work so far. I've got the ad package and am looking at the PM system package, but I want to ensure that the forum is functioning properly for how people will be using it first.

Please note, wpForo doesn't have Multiquote function yet.
Guys, what can be done as workaround is using the partial quotation trick (like I have done with this reply)
- Select part of the post you want to quote
- Click the " quote button (see screenshot)
- Anything that is already in the post box will stay there
- Repeat for other quoted text
