I would love an option that allows us to control which usergroup is able to see things like links, embeds, attachments etc

For example, an option that will allow to hide links and attachments from guests etc

There is no options for links. But there is a permission in Usergroup settings for attachments. please read the documentation: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/topics-posts/atatch-file-to-post/#access
