Hi, (i think) since the last patch we cannot update the usergroup of existing members anymore. The user account page allows to select another group but after saving it we don't get an error but the group is not updated ...

Please let me know the wpForo version you use and whether you have wpForo User Custom Fields addon installed or not.
If you have a cache plugin, please exclud forum page from caching.

We have version 1.9.5. We don't have the custom form fields plugin installed, and we already excluded all wpForo pages from caching some time ago (we use wp-optimize).
.... But I just found out the issue ;P ... The "website-url" of that user on the profile had a invalid value. I don't know how the user got that value in the field but when updating the profile it seems it rechecks the url and rejects the update. Changing the url field and the group worked like a charm. In the profile page you see the error only briefly in the top-right, but on the admin/dashboard I didn't see that message. So it seems there are different validations in place for the profile page and the website url field maybe?
Anyway, all is ok now.
