Hello wpForo team,

I hope you’re doing well.

I’m trying to install the wpForo plugin on my WordPress site, but the installation is not completing successfully. I have tried installing it multiple times, however it still does not install.

I have checked my internet connection and retried both from the WordPress plugin repository and by reattempting the installation, but the issue remains the same.

Could you please guide me on what might be causing this issue and how I can fix it?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards

@amitshukla,
Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. The issue with wpForo plugin installation not completing could be caused by several factors. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  • Check your WordPress version and ensure it meets the minimum requirements for wpForo.
  • Verify that your PHP version and server settings meet wpForo's requirements.
  • Make sure you have sufficient file permissions on your WordPress installation folders, especially the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  • Temporarily deactivate other plugins to rule out conflicts during installation.
  • Try installing the plugin manually by downloading the latest wpForo zip file from the WordPress plugin repository and uploading it via FTP to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder, then activate it from the WordPress admin panel.
  • Check your server error logs for any errors related to plugin installation.
  • If you can provide any error messages you see during installation, that would help narrow down the cause.

    Let me know if you need detailed instructions on any of these steps or further assistance.
