Hi,

I just bought and installed the addon plugin 'custom user fields' and now my members tab has stopped working on most pages. It redirects back to the home page when clicked.

It happens on the home page, and also on any other page that i have created in wordpress and added a shortcode to a specific forum.

The only way that I can seem to get to the members page is by clicking on the 'recent posts' tab, and then clicking on the 'members' tab afterwards.

Is there a fix for this?

On the home page, the members tab also seems to be highlighted now (screenshot below)

I'm using WpForo version 2.4.1

@johnnyfive

First, navigate to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu, edit the menus, and check the URLs for the "Members" menu items.

Next, review this FAQ and ensure all settings are configured correctly: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/#post-37150

Lastly, please note that you can use wpForo as a stand-alone forum. This option disables WordPress on the front end, making only forum pages and excluded posts/pages available. For more details, please read this documentation carefully: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/getting-started/forum-page/turn-wordpress-to-wpforo/

@sofy Hi again,

Thanks. I have checked the urls and they say they're going to the members page.

There are 2 menus for the wpforo navigation though. Not sure if there should be?

@sofy I also dont use any other caching plugins, and i dont need to change the forum to a standalone as I want to keep using some wordpress and elementor features.

This issue has only started happening since i installed the 'custom user fields' addon.

@johnnyfive

Could you please disable caching for the page containing the [wpforo] shortcode?
