After User Registration, the display name--Nickname--field is not showing the correct value.

It instead displays the same Username in fields Nickname(Display name) and URL Address Identifier fields.

I am using wpForo 1.9.1 and wpForo Topic Custom Fields plug-in.

@robert

I have attached the screen example to explain the issue.

As you can see, those two fileds--Display Name (Nickename) and URL Address Indentifier--are entered in the user's registration form, but those values shows incorrectly in My Profile/Account page after the member registration process.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul--

@paulchoe,

The Nickname is not the Display Name.

Nickname is the nickname, and it's used in the URL and for mentioning like this: @paulchoe,

S all is correct, just don't confuse Nicknames with Display names. I recommend you read this topic: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/nickname-vs-username-vs-display-names/

@robert,

It's my bad... However, the problem is still there.  It's not showing correct field values. Display Name is not transferring correctly when using custom codes in Registration Page. All three fields--Username, Dispalay Name, URL Identifier--have the same value after completing the registration page--Username!!!

I initially stated incorrectly about my plug-in.  It is wpForo – User Custom Fields plug-in, and I am using now wpForo 1.9.3...
