When using membership plugin, even after user has membership forum shows - membership is required. This happenswhen forum is displayed via [wpforo] shortcode, member is able to view topics in /community url perfectly.

Hi, what do you mean by "This happens when forum is displayed via [wpforo] shortcode"?

Is there any other way to have wpForo active on a page?

when using elementor shortcode widget, this error happens. Other way is just accessing directly via url at /community which works fine.

The wpForo plugin does not have a membership system, and the message you're seeing does not originate from wpForo. The core wpForo is free, and you can access your wpForo page using the default URL, which is usually /community/. The message is likely generated by another plugin, possibly Elementor or another one. You should inquire with the plugin responsible for displaying that message.

@blackraz We are using https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-woocommerce-memberships/  addon. Can you please confirm you tried to replicate the issue?

- Enable the membership addon.
- Create relevant accesses and subscriptions
- Embed wpforo using [wpforo] shortcode

- Login with a user which has the subscription/membership
- Result: Forum embedded via shortcode will show warning a membership is needed to view this topic under topics. (which is undesirable as member has the mmbership], You can confirm this working if you directly go to forums on /community url.

@sgargajss-com-au,

You've configured something wrong, for sure. Please move this topic to gVectors Support forum. Here, we don't support addons. This is the core wpForo support forum.

Open a new topic and provide screenshots showing the member permissions, plans, and forum membership configuration in the forum editing page.
