Hi,

Firsr of all,  thank you so much for your forum application. It is really useful and made my life easier.

I have created a website on wordpress. To be specific it is an onlne marketplace, where users need to sign up on the website to be able to use the services.  Do users need to register with the forum again before being able to post on the forum or can users post on the forum once they have logged into the website. I have added the forum in the menu of the website by the way.

Thank you so much in advance.

Regards

Donna

If your marketplace is a WordPress plugin and it uses WordPress user system then all is ok. All users of your marketplace are automatically become forum member and have all necessary permissions to post a new topic and reply. There should not login twice, this is the main advantage of WordPress forum plugins over stand-alone forum platforms. User and authorization system is automatically integrated.

You should ask this question to the plugin developer who added profile pictures to your website. wpForo use default WordPress avatar functions, if the profile plugin you use is correctly developed and it uses WordPress functions then it should automatically change forum profile avatars. We have no chance to integrate it from wpForo side.

On the menu page of my online website (www.pathwayconcepts.com) I have one page titled FORUM. Somehow, the forum I've developed using the wpforo plugin for an online course (which is private for those who purchase the online course) is already there on that front menu page for the public to see. I don't want that happening. So, how do I keep that forum from the public view on the forum menu page. I'm a rookie on this learning curve, but I want to learn how to do this. I really do like the WoForo product. Thank you for helping and I'm hoping this can be done.
