I've been using wpForo for over a year now, it's getting better every time 🙂 But one option I think I should have is to be able to change the author of a post or comment. It turns out that I made a migration from Simple: Press, and several posts have an "Anonymous" user, when the user does exist (it's me in many cases). As there is no option to change the author, this can not be solved.

I'm sorry but there is no such feature in forums and in wpForo as well. You should fix it in cPanel > phpMyAdmin database manager of your hosting service. You should find your account (User ID) in wp_users table, then search the post in _wpforo_posts table, and change the userid field. Then navigate in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on [Delete all caches] button.

I get it. SimplePress had a function to change the author of the post, if you are admin, but I understand what you are saying. It's more cumbersome, but it's an option to fix it. Thanks Robert!
