The button I clicked on to start this said, "Add Topic." Everything in my forums says, "Ask a Question." They are not always questions. How can I change this?

Hi @rogerb,

Have you tried to replace "Add Topic" phrase to "Ask a Question" in Dashboard > wpForo > Phrases admin page?

Yes. I must not be doing it right. I went into Phrases, found "Ask a Question" clicked on Edit, and typed "Start a Conversation". I opened a new icognito window - logged in a test account. nothing changed. i'm sure I'm missing a step.

@rogerb,

Please delete all kind of caches, I see even the HTML is optimized on your website, so you should purge all kind of caches and don't allow them to work for wpForo page. At the moment I don't see "Start a Conversation" in your phrase file: https://staging10.flippingamerica.net/wp-content/uploads/siteground-optimizer-assets/wpforo-dynamic-phrases.min.js

Also, please go to wpForo > Overview admin page and press [Delete Phrase Cache] button.

Don't forget to delete the browser cache by pressing Ctrl+F5 or [Shift]+Refresh

Thanks @Robert. I pushed the site live today. Reviewing it on my iPad just now it looks great and the phrase I want is there. But now i have another issue. Whenever i click on one of the discussions - any of them, the link goes to the staging site where i created everything. Those links did not transfer over. Please tell me I can go somewhere and change those links. Thanks.

@rogerb,

Go to Dashboard > wpForo > Overview admin page and click the [Delete all caches] button.

Also, got to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and click the [Update options] button.
