Hi!

I've encountered an issue with the wpForo plugin for WordPress.

Following the tutorial, https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/getting-started/forum-page/set-forum-on-home-page/

I set the forum homepage as the WordPress front page.

However, I've noticed that the breadcrumb links haven't been updated correctly. Instead of linking to "example.com/", they still point to "example.com/community".

This creates a navigation inconsistency for users. I'm looking for a solution to correct these breadcrumb links so they reflect the new homepage structure, pointing to the root domain instead of the "/community" subdirectory.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and how can I resolve it to ensure proper navigation throughout the forum?

Would you suggest some potential solutions or troubleshooting steps for this problem?

Thank you!

Hi,

You can do that if you enable the "Turn WordPress to wpForo" option in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General Tab. BUT, I don't recommend it if you have other pages and content in your WordPress website. This option disables the whole WordPress pages on front-end. Only forum content will be available no other pages, no other front-end plugins.

More info in the doc:  https://wpforo.com/docs/root/getting-started/forum-page/turn-wordpress-to-wpforo/

Thanks @sofy Sofy for the reply. I remember that I've read it before but couldn't locate the "Turn WordPress to this forum board" option 🤣

Here is to remind anyone who didn't find it, I just found that in the very bottom of the "Board" tab (After Modules and addon).
