I'm sorry but there is no way to change it back. The old working logic was wrong. You should not be able to post a HTML code in rich editor. You should put it in text editor.
You can copy the iframe HTML code, edit that posts and put it in text mode to fix the old posts.

Try to put this CSS code in Forums > Settings > Styles > Custom CSS Code textarea. Save it, delete all caches and do Ctrl+F5 on forum front-end. If it doesn't work, please leave some URL to a post with such example.
