It's not working since October 4 for Admin, subscribers, and moderators alike.  When you attempt to edit a post, by clicking <edit> the post disappears.  You have to refresh the page to get the post back and it has not been edited. Does anyone know any fixes for this issue? I am not a developer, so please help with lay language. Thanks!

@jeanne, The edit post function in wpForo may not work due to several reasons, including JavaScript errors or conflicts with caching plugins. One common issue is caused by cache plugins like W3 Total Cache (W3TC) that interfere with wpForo's functionality. To fix this, you should exclude wpForo pages from caching in your cache plugin settings. Also, check your browser console (press F12) for any JavaScript errors when trying to edit posts, as these errors can indicate the root cause. Make sure you have proper permissions set in wpForo's post edit settings.

@wpforo-support Thank you for the suggestions.  I will try these potential fixes.

Also do you know any developers who are very famiiar with wpforo problems?  Over the years, about 99 percent of the problems I have on my website involve wpforo.  That is expected, my forum is large and somewhat busy, so I am not blaming the app, which I love.  But most developers don't know how to figure out what is wrong.  I

I need a developer who understands wpforo.com plugin and how it integrates with a wordpress website.

I would so appreciate finding someone who can help.

The "like" button also hadn't worked for at least a year.

Is this since the most recent update 2.8.9?

If that update was in early July, then this problem began after that, around the beginning of October or late September when I began noticing it.

Thanks for your help.  It looks like we found the culprit -- an incompatible link with Mailchimp sign up code. So we are removing it from the forum.
