I've set up a couple of forums as 'read-only' for our members, but still the 'leave a reply' field appears below every item. When trying to reply nothing happens and the reply isn't saved or published.
This doesn't make sense and is very confusing for our members. How do I hide the 'leave a reply' field on forums that are read-only? Is there a setting I'm missing?
Hope you can point me in the right direction.

I'm sorry but I didn't follow you. Please explain it with Usergroup names. And let me know what is your usergroup when you check it.

Thanks for your reply, I'll try to make it a bit clearer: I have set up a forum where the Usergroup 'Members' is set to 'Read only access' under 'Forum permissions'.
Now when I log in with my 'Member' account and visit this Forum, I still get a 'Leave a reply' form under every single post I look at. I think this shouldn't happen, given that Members have 'Read only' access and therefore can't leave replies.
Hope this is a bit clearer and you can clear this up for me.

Any updates on this? I've tried hiding these buttons via CSS but didn't have much luck.
