Hi there,

I'd like to hide specific Members (not Usergroups) from the Members list.

We use our wpForo forum to control accesses for students to forums/categories that are specific to their class. To be sure we've got the access setup correctly for a class, we always create some test users within each user group so we can view it from a student's perspective and make sure it is setup correctly.

Naturally, these test users show in the Members area. I'm aware of the "Display on Members List" checkbox in Usergroups, but even if I create a "hidefrommemberlist" usergroup and apply it as a secondary usergroup, the initial usergroup permissions override that and the user gets shown on the members list.

Do you have any ideas for a workaround?

Hi @gholmes,

I'd like to hide specific Members (not Usergroups) from the Members list.

I'' really sorry but there is no way to do this.

I'll suggest you to create a new usergroups, keep users in that usergroup(the users you want to hide in the Members list). Then go to that usergroup admin page and uncheck the "Can be also used as Secondary Usergroup" option and check.
