How can I change the URL from:
https://wpforo.com/community/profile/sofy/
..to:
https://wpforo.com/profile/sofy/ or https://wpforo.com/ @sofy ?

If you're using the wpForo as a stand-alone forum you can enable the “Turn WordPress to wpForo” option.
Please read the documentation before enabling the option.

Are you good with URL Rewrite Rules? Do you know how to do it without changing the forum's URL to root?
