You mean wpForo Shortcodes, yes those apparently work. I was speaking about Wordpress general shortcodes.

 Sorry, I removed my reply once I've noticed that it works only on the main page...

yes exactly, we use 28 Wordpress plugin for our highly customized websites and we would like to provide the user  the same shortcodes in the forum as under Wordpress.
