Well, I feel stupid, as I have been doing just that: see below. The thing is, I cannot remember, or find, how I did that. It works perfectly well, but I need to change the list this subscribe to.

I finally found the answer. It's a MailChimp plugin which does integrate with WordPress login Form. Sorry for wasting your time.
