Have searched forums for answer without success.

Have installed wpForo Ok and tried to set forum community page to Private and also Password protected to hide forum from users/bots/others. But does not work, wpForo page is still available when I try to access through incognito browser.

wpForo keeps creating new forum pages.  I thought I had succeeded earlier but then found an obvious bot or other search hit created yet another new forum page and opened up forum to public.

Q: How can I develop forums and only publish/make public when I am ready?

If no method, I need to add page text above [wpforo] to notify anyone/anything finding it, right?

Hi @richardhkg,

Here is an article on "How to Setup a Private Forum Using wpForo". Just follow the instruction mentioned here.

https://gvectors.com/how-to-set-up-private-forum/

Then just remove the 'forum' menu item from the menu of your website. Please follow this guide:  https://easywpguide.com/wordpress-manual/appearance/updating-the-menu/deleting-a-menu-item/

Once you complete the development of your forum, change the forum access and insert the forum menu.
