wpForo 1.x.x [Closed] how to default lay out?

hi

when i create a forum

i want to automatic layout called threaded

how to do it?

Hi @chinese-scientist,

You can set forum layouts in top/parent Category settings. Child forums’ layout depends on the top category (blue panels) layout. They cannot have a different layout.

@chinese-scientist,

There is not any default layout. You can change and set any layout to categories and forums. Just edit the top category and set it to the thread like i showed above.

hopefully you guys can innovate that feature - to make it easier for startups like us to create lots of forums

we are going to create lots of forums covering cities across the globe and it really is a tedious process to edit each of them

also, in another forum, we requested for a way to make it easier for us to copy an existing forum and just change the name. CLONE feature in some software. we want to copy everything and jsut change the name of the forum. because if we are going to do it one by one for every city in the world, i think thats not innovative.

hopefully you guys can work on that. i think thats good for your other users as well.

if we get our first funding, well be happy to donate to wpforo.
