I don't need the forum registration and login since I have the wordpress theme default ones. And is there any consequences for doing so?

Please navigate in Dashboard to Forums > Settings > Members and set Custom URLs for Login/Register/Logout pages. Also you can Manage wpForo menus in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus admin page, select wpForo Navigation and manage menu items.
