Hi Guys,

currently IM programming an app where I want notifications if u get new unread posts on WPForo. But therefore I need to send the userAuthentification to receive the correct user specific Html code. Can u guys help me out there?

Hi @laurin,

you don't need to search ways for wpForo authentication, there is no any. You should search it for WordPress. wpForo users are the same WordPress users. If you can authenticat in WordPress, then you're good to go... You should read this: https://developer.wordpress.org/rest-api/using-the-rest-api/authentication/
