Limited Support
Our team is currently on holiday, so support will be limited during this period. Response times may be slower than usual, and some inquiries may be delayed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’ll resume our usual support by the end of August.
I am the admin for a private password protected self help addiction recovery forum. Confidentiality is of utmost importance. When members subscribe to a topic they want to be informed right away by email when there is a reply. But the email telling them that there has been a reply CANNOT DISCLOSE ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION. I simply want the email to say "Someone has replied to a topic you are subscribed to. Pease login with your user name and password to read their reply." I would prefer that the email not mention the topic, nor the name of the person who replied, nor the content of the reply. The email should not reveal anything confidential except that a reply has been received. I tried changing the settings under "settings" and "email settings" and "Post Reporting Emails." But the outgoing emails still report the [reporter] the [message] and the [post_url] even though I have removed these from the body of the email. Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks in advance.
Thank you in advance. I think I have found the fix. It appears to be working.
