I have a significant lag time when posting / replying. It takes about 3 seconds once you hit the ‘add topic’ / ‘save button’.

The MySQL database I’m running is pretty small and I have no issues with other application or WP it self. Everything is smooth and there is zero lag on other applications.

What could be the problem here?

Thanks!

@gombi1 Can you supply a URL ? Also, do you have any plugins installed that are known to cause issues with WpForo ? Have a look here -  https://wpforo.com/community/?wpfs=conflict

@anonymous3542   Here is the link

I will check my plugins and try to deactivate one by one.

Disable "All in one Seo". And check. Also two SEO's in wpForo are not needed.

I disabled "All in one Seo" but I don't see improvement.

Ok, then enable Wordpress DEBUG to a LOG and check for possible errors.

This is a good point, although if you are using the remaining functions of WordPress (blogs, etc) then you will still need two - just make sure that they don't "cross paths"
