Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with wpForo profile editing permissions.
Problem:
Regular members cannot see the "Edit Profile" button on their own profile page in the frontend.
Details:
-
wpForo version: 6.9.1
-
WordPress latest version
-
Default usergroup: "Membres du site MΓ©thode France Guillain"
-
This usergroup has Standard access
-
The issue occurs even when this group is set as Primary Usergroup
-
Admin users can see the Edit Profile button
-
Regular members cannot see it at all (the button is completely missing, not greyed out)
I have checked:
-
Usergroups access type (Standard access confirmed)
-
Member Profile settings
-
Display settings
-
No custom restrictions were intentionally set
-
The issue persists even when the user is only in the default Standard group
Question:
What setting controls the visibility of the "Edit Profile" button in the frontend profile page?
Is there a specific permission required for profile editing that I may have disabled unintentionally?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
AΓ―mata
