They are getting some "You are not allowed to write"  message

i have already activated the Private Messaging addon

 

Is there any threshold of posts that new users need to make before they can start sending private messages?

Hi @raja65,

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups > edit the usergroup that new users belong to and make sure the "Can write PM" is enabled. Screenshot below:

Is there any threshold of posts that new users need to make before they can start sending private messages?

Please navigate to the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Private Messages admin page, find and check the "Min number of forum posts user must have" options.

For further support please register and open a new support topic in the gVectors.com support forum. This is the wpForo support forum. Here we only support the wpForo plugin.
