Hi

I need to allow members to subscribe to my site by paying a monthly fee.

Are you aware of any payment gateway membership plug-ins that work with wpForo to set default access? Alternatively, do you publish an API to register new users?

You should search for WordPress Paid Membership plugins. wpForo doesn't have such feature.
