Php version issue
I am using the most current template. already have 2.
Has anyone noticed that the wp foro plugin doesn't work after php version 7.4?
When I updated to php version 8 (and of course I tried all versions up to .4) it is possible to read the site but when you add a post

"Your site has a serious problem.

Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress issues."

I entered a content in every php version above 7.4 and got the same error in all of them. I made php version 7.4 and created a content and bam, no error.

Then I wondered if I was missing a module and made all the marked modules of version 7.4 and version 8.4 completely similar. and bam, I GET THE SAME ERROR AGAIN. so it was not related.

I had noticed this php version problem before and I deliberately chose version 7.4. Today, when a plugin warned me “you are using a php version that no longer receives security updates, use an updated version”, I tried to see if you updated it and bam, I get an error and I cannot run it on any version above version 7.4.

Can anyone help me with this issue?
I'm getting tired of this plugin.
I won't care about SEO, I will delete it completely.

That's really enough!!!

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do something extra? Is this a known issue? Is there a developer who can explain it?

I'm running v8.3 and have no issue. Alot of times it is the hosting company servers that has the issue. I ran into this sorta same issue with upgrading from 7.4 to 8.3 on hostgator for a client. I ended up going to 8.1 then about hr later going to 8.3. The site gave me a a crashed warning, but I cleared the cache manually and it is working.

@theq6699 I upgraded to version 8.3 and cleared the cache. I did this from the "Forum maintenance mode" section. The same problem persists. What you did that I didn't do is just wait. I'll wait an hour or two. It wouldn't hurt to try. But let me remind you, I'm using the 2022 theme. Which one were you using?

No, it definitely doesn't work with PHP versions above 7.4. The old theme doesn't work either. I contacted the hosting company, and they said, "All features up to PHP 8.4 are installed and working. When we checked the wpforo plugin, it was tested with the latest version 7, but no information was provided for later versions. When we checked with 7.4, wpforo works, so it's probably not compatible with versions above that."

I'm looking for a developer to help with this issue.

However, I also received an error that confirmed what the hosting company said. I took a screenshot.
