Hi,
In setting up wpforo reputation system, I try to use some free icons listed in https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&m=free However, I can choose only basic icons e.g. fa-star, fa-sun. But I couldn’t select more elegant (but free) ones such as fa-phoenix-framework / fa-superpowers / fa-meteor ; Can I use these beautiful icons ?

Hi labradorman,
wpForo Font Awesome lib is updated to version 5. You can use the custom font awesome icon that has the version higher than 5.
E.g. this one ( fab fa-phoenix-framework) you can use without any problem.

Would you mind to teach me why some icons begin with fab and some with fas ?
Edit: Got it now! They are brand and solid styles, respectively
