Hi, we're evaluating your plugin as a community board, which enables our clients to initiate discussion. Access will be dependent upon a prior login to our application. Is there a way to pass that authentication through to your plugin?

Currently, we don't have such functionality, because don't familiar with the application you use.
If your application has all the requirements(such as for example Facebook API) the gVectors Team custom development service is ready to help you customize the wpForo plugin.
