I will be setting up a forum for our group in the next couple of months. wpForo looks like it could be a good option for us.Ā One thing I couldn't find in the forum or help documentation was whether there is an option to save or archive discussions?Ā I'm worried that there may come a time when the plug-in is no longer being updated and we will want to migrate to a new platform. I don't want to lose all our discussions.

there is no a tool for saving and archiving discussions, you'll simply need to backup the database:
