Related questions, not sure if in the correct forum.

Picture worth thousand words.

Green – screens

Red - screen owner

Purple – change of colors of menu

Orange – change of topic's status

Blue – change of topics summary's display

Now I'll to explain.

The topic is locked and sticky.

It shows different icon based on the user. In all 3 cases it should show "locked" and "sticky"

Menu color is the same for admin and guest and gray for registered user.

The topic description (replys) is expended for guests.

Am I missing something in the configuration?

Thanks

Please delete the cache. It seems you've changed forum layouts but the cache is not reset yet. I see different Forum Layouts. Those are not the same, first is the Simplified layout, the second is Extended. So if layouts are different you'll see different screens. Nothing is wrong here. Just delete cache and test it again please.

I did delete the cache. It worked and a did not and I'm totally confused!

I also  turned off super cache and it is the same.

As I moved between screens and pages including the main site page, the menu on top shows sometimes that I'm logged and sometimes that I'm not.

I do not understand the cache business, why as a (dumb) end user I'm supposed to deal with it? If I change the forum layout I'm expecting it to show up in few seconds for users especially when I disabled super cache in lieu of speed.

?

It seems the cache is not fully deleted. Or maybe you test all on the same PC. The browser and PC may also have a cache. So please final change all forum layouts, then install WP Super Cache, delete all caches. Navigate to WP Super Cache > Advanced and enable "Don't cache for known users" option.

BTW, on this website we also use WP Super Cache and all works fine.
