There should not be a significant difference in SEO of these two layouts. Both are fully index-able by Search Engines and both have almost all necessary meta data and HTML structures to be a SEO friendly. I can only say the Simplified Layout is bit faster because it loads less information. But if our forum has up to 100k posts you'll not see any difference in performance.

Great, but it's impossible to load forum topic title when sharing in facebook... That needs to be fixed
