I didn't put the URL to our staging site because I didn't want to start getting traffic to that URL. I have used wpforo in the past and set it up recently on a new site with no problems. Thanks to the excellent support, we also tweaked it with a PHP modification for the views counts for each refresh.

This time I have worked on it for some time and keep returning to it to try and make it work on a site on the buddyboss platform. I turned off all plugins; I looked for the board URL, which was in the wpforo settings in the past, to see if that could be the issue. It seems to have remembered some of the set up from using it years ago.

Any tips or pointers will be much appreciated.
