Thank you for adding the sub forum option. It is a great addition for me.

What I've found is that the description of sub-forum isn't displayed in the category page.

It is displayed after entering the forum.

In addition, I think that sub forum displayed name should be indented and the same font size as the parent forum. 

 

Colors index:

Green border - admin page

Orange border - forum page

Purple - main forum name (Travel) 

Blue - sub forum name (Tips for travelers)

Red - on left is the description and on right the missing description.

Black - Topic (Leisure)

All is correct. This is the classic forum design. Subforum descriptions can not be displayed on main forum page, you can't show so many information under a one parent forum, it'll not look good and it'll not be  user-friendly.  The subForum title font-size should be smaller than the parent forum. I hope you have a minimum experience with forum platform and you have seen this on all popular forum platforms like vBuleltin, phpBB, XenForo, etc...
