Can you please add "First Name" and "Last Name" as member fields? I know that I can add them manually with the Member Fields addon (which I bought), but those values are not synchronized with the ones in the WordPress backend.

Hi @florian,

I'm really sorry, but it's not possible. When you create a new field it cannot be synchronized based on its name. It cannot recognize that the newly created field should be synchronized with the already existing one.

But why can't you add a synchronized field just as the username, screen name or email address are synchronized?

I really love the plugin but the default answer to any suggestion here is always "that's not possible".

Thank you very much @florian,

The wpForo user is the same WordPress user. But the wpForo – User Custom Fields add-on is designed just to extend the forum profile system. The fields designed with this add-on cannot be synchronized with Wordpress fields.

I got that. But why do you not add these fields into the core version of the plugin? WordPress has a First Name and Last Name field for user accounts, why should it be missing in the forum profile?
